Thingyan special train to run

YANGON, 29 March Myanma Railways planned a Thingyan special train to run on Yangon-Mandalay-Yangon trip every other day from 26 to 31 March and Yangon-Mandalay trip from 1st to 12 April daily. The train will stop running from 13 to 16 April and then resume service from 17 to 20 April in order that people would conveniently travel with peace of mind before and after
Myanma Traditional Water Festival. The train leaving Yangon at 7 pm arrives in Mandalay at 10 am the next day. The train leaving Mandalay at 7.30 pm arrives in Yangon at 11.30 am the next day. The Thingyan special train will run from Yangon on 26, 28 and 30 March and from 1st to 12 April.The train includes two upper class coaches and ten ordinary class coaches and it will stop at Bago, Toungoo, Pyinmana and Thazi stations. An upper class seat costs K 3090 and an ordinary class seat, K 1550.
